What Blair said and depends on if they're 3ply with stick-chopper rims and Gladstone era floor tom leg mounts (the ones that look like tube lugs as opposed to the diamond leg plate type).

Three ply for some reason are more sought after. Your late 50's drums could be 6ply - 6ply are nice too just not as wanted as the 3ply. The stick-chopper rims are highly collectible too. Your drum sizes are what people are looking for as well.

I wouldn't pay that much for a rewrap, because no matter how nice it is, it is and will always be a player's kit. I wouldn't go over 1500.

Re-wrapping does diminish the value. Gretsch collectors are especially finicky about this sort of thing, so I would treat this as a player's kit and not as an investment. That said: what a player's kit! A champagne sparkle Gretsch set in jazz sizes--to me, that's the very height of class.
