I have a natural finish 13x9 Gretsch Round Badge tom. I really don't think that was redone due to the aging on the finish. This thing sounds killer.

Looks like an old re-finish. The original nitrocellulose finish on Gretsch drums generally has crazing marks and usually retains it's gloss.
