Gretsch "Floor Show" Snare

Loading...

Just wondering if any of you have owned or played a 6 1/2 x 14 vintage Gretsch Floor Show model snare? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts in regard to the sound quality. Also, any idea what these might be valued at in today's (ever-changing) market? Thanks.

Gary, my WMP floor show round badge model is awesome sounding, I have a steel wrapped kit your snare drum would go perfect with if your thinking of selling it. The steel wrap does mute or cut down on the damping of the shell.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I recently just got my first Floor Show and I am in love with it!!!

Really crisp and does not have that boxy sound that you sometimes get with the Gretsch wood snares.
