My 3-ply RBs have silver interiors too. There seem to be quite a few floating around.

From jake52776

I started using this site about a year ago when I started cleaning up my dad's old Round Badge set. Before I decided to repaint the interiors and clean all the grime off the Zildjan K's (or toss them out and buy a set made in America instead of Istanbul), I looked stuff up here to get me pointed in the right direction and help date the set.Last night I came upon a post on E-bay for a 50's Round Badge Floor Tom, and my eyes kind said it was more of a sixties drum. I could be wrong, but if it was fifties wouldn't the leg mounts have the heads for the screws on the outside?I also thought that all 3 ply shells had a clear lacquer coat and not the silver interior.I'm not calling the guy who has put this up a liar. I'm just wondering if I have learned anything looking through all these threads.http://cgi.ebay.com/Gretsch-VINTAGE-50s-ROUND-BADGE-16-FLOOR-TOM-/360359077914?pt=Vintgae_Drums_Percussion&hash=item53e713281a

Please tell me you're kidding about painting the interiors and cleaning the Ks! :)
