I also got in touch with him (through a Facebook group I'm part of), he was asking the same amount but he wants to be paid with a postal check. I'm not into that. I may have a friend in Brooklyn that could drive and meet him halfway, then ship the drum to me. I'm already halfway into a Gretsch orphan project, this would be icing on the cake.
