I was at GC tonight "perusing" the used cymbals and ended up taking home a cool-sounding 17" K Custom Fast Crash and a 16" A-series "Medium Thin Crash".
This is the cymbal:

Now, I guess it looks like a medium thin crash, but looking at just the stamp, or what can be made out of it, how was someone at Guitar Center able to positively identify this cymbal? I can say based on my own research and matching it up that it might be 70's vintage, thin stamp... but I'm not an expert on cymbals at all. It sounded cool and different and was cheap so I bought it.. Just kind of curious how old it actually is..
