Just some of the drums I encountered today in San Diego County.

NOT all for sale. I bought what was for sale. But these drums are real nice to look at so thought you guys would appreciate.

From Dan Boucher

Nice Leedy kit too.

Lookie here what I just sold a few weeks ago. I loved them (still love them). But, I needed to thin the herd in our new downsized retirement cottage. This great 1963 set is configured 14x22, 9x13, 16x16. I kept my BDP 1963 Leedy set with 14x20, 9x13, 16x16, and matching Shelly Manne snare. The guy who bought the Champagne Sparkle set was very happy to receive them. I didn't get a matching snare with the Champagne set. But I had these two snares that looked and sounded pretty darn good with that set. I held on to these snare drums. They are a Leedy Shelly Manne snare in Pink Glass Glitter and a Walberg & Auge snare in Champagne Sparkle.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

sweet kit! I was there to get a 65 SBP Downbeat. Then saw the Leedy kit & bought both!

I've been so tempted to get another Leedy kit. Very stylish and great sound, especially with the COB stick-savers. But alas, like Leedybdp, I just no room to have more than a couple of Rogers kits at one time. If I buy a kit, I have to sell one. Nice champagne kits you both have (had).

That Super-Sensitive Ludwig is the nicest drum in the whole bunch. Gorgeous....and rare.
