Star Made in Japan Drum set.
Some of you probably seen these before and after rehab, in the non-USA section. I decided to see if anyone here might be interested in them, as I am getting way to many drum kits around here and running out of space. They cleaned up very well and and actually sound pretty good. I removed all the hardware, cleaned and waxed the shells, polished all the hardware, and made sure everything is in prefect working order. The only problems I can see is that there is a slight discoloration on the Floor Tom wrap on one side and 2 minor nicks in the Bass Drum wrap, otherwise the wraps are all tight, and polished up nicely. The hardware also is quite nice and shined up well. The original heads are on the bottom of all the Toms and I even used the original front head on the batter side of the Bass Drum.
These were all complete, with no missing parts when I got them and that is why, being I had some time on my hands decide to refurbish them, just to see how nice they would have looked when new.
I used them for a recent rehearsal and the other band mates were quite surprised at how good they sounded.
The kit consists of a 20" Bass, 16" Floor, 13" Mounted, and a 12" Mounted that I think is probably a Pearl brand, and the original 5"x14" Wood Snare. It also has the original Bass Drum Pedal, 1 original Flat Base Cymbal stand, and the original Bass Mounted Cymbal "L" Arm. The snare stand shown is "not" included.
Everything is in good working condition and I have a lot of detailed photos that I can send you a link to if anyone is interested.
Asking $225 or reasonable offer.
Regarding shipping:
Unless your somewhere close to Minneapolis in order to pick them up or have someone pick them up for you, shipping is probably going to run enough to scare away any long distance buyers, but I thought I would throw them out here anyway to see if there is any interest. I do have a couple of large boxes that they would fit in, but have no idea what it would cost to ship them.
