I used to cut out pics from Sears, Montgomery Ward, and Brand Names catalogs, of the drums I wished I had in the late '60s. (My friends were looking at ladies undies, weirdo's)

Also a few years ago I interviewed one of the Kent brothers and he said that Montgomery Ward put kent on the map, they sold most of their drumsets through that catalog. I used to go to a pawn shop in my neighborhood and lust after used drums in the window.

I didn't realize they were still selling drums in Sears catalog in the '80s.

I used to dream of having that "drum set", even then though, I could deal without the extra toms, thank god I never fell into the "Gotta have Roto-Toms" set...

yeah, I had a set of roto-toms, but, rued the day they came into my life... the old band I was in loved them though... DOH

I used to dream of having an entire kit of roto toms, I started with the small set, but never got past those which I eventually sold.
