The Bubinga is sold. The walnut and Zebrawood is still available.

I find it odd that more people are not into segment and stave drums. IMO, both of these drums sounded better than my Super Gene Krupa single ply maple.

I have said it before that I only like to break even when I sell a drum. I'm not against a profit but it's hard to do sometimes. Take this drum for example....

I paid $225 for the Walnut/Zebrawood. Actually, I felt that was a very good price and I think the drum is worth every bit of that. And, I would gladly sell it for that. However, when you go to actually sell it, the scenario changes...

I usually like to ship my snares in a case so I have a Beato Pro 3 Case to include that costs about $25. I don't think shipping will be as much as $50 to most places but when I offer free shipping on eBay I always figure about $50 in case it's a cross-country ship. Ebay and Paypal fees are 13% so that's another $45. Add it all up and it comes to $345 (I have it listed for $399 but I'll drop it to $350 when I re-list it).

Funny how a price can go from $225 to $345 in a hurry. And, I still only get the $225. The third parties (shipping, eBay, etc) get a whopping $120 out of the deal.

So, if you live next door to me and walk over and pay cash (LOL) I can sell this drum for $225. Otherwise, I can go $225 plus actual shipping and the case (if you want it). Oh, yeah, and the Paypal 3%. Geeze... it adds up, no matter what. LOL
