FNG ~ I'm a New Guy Last viewed: 1 day ago

Hi, My name is Bill or "Indybluesdrummer"... I've been looking around to find some information on an old set of Yamaha drums that I have. I think they are Yamaha Model D-20... The kit has a 14X20 Bass Drum, a 5X14 Snare, a 8X12 Tom Tom and a 14X14 Floor Tom. As soon asI can figure my way around on this, I'll post some pics of them. I have been playing drums since I was 14yrs old and have played for about 54 years and am still actively playing. I currently play on a set of Ludwigs.. Accent CS Custom 5 piece set ~ Tobacco Fade color. That's the sweetest kit I've owned or played on.. the only problem is as I get older, the drums are getting heavier, if you know what I mean... lol

I am interested in learning more about the Yamaha set that I have... I believe they are from the late 1960's... I think I have uploaded two pics - one pic of the yahama badge and the other of the drums stacked in my computer room... If they are not attached, I'll figure out later how to do it..

Take care everyone... talk later.

Welcome I believe J!m has a Yahama D-20 thread open in the vintage non-usa section right now. The only Yahama I ever owned was a little 400 twin special.

Ditto on the "post pics" and "plenty of experts"... you'll get what you need. Yes Sir

Not a Guru... just interested..
