This past Saturday, my son and I went to the local flea market, parked the car, walked to the first table and see this sitting on the ground ... Eye Ball

Nice! I have never seen anything drum related at a flee market, but then again I haven't gone to very many.

Thank you!

Nice! I've had some luck at flea markets with percussion parts--chimes, triangles etc--nothing this useful.

So Tim, was it empty or not?

.... six tension rods, five washers and some dust balls. :(

They only wanted $10, so I have another nice case. Yes, I did ask if they had the drum.

Please share some of your flea market finds.

How 'bout this late '30's Leedy FT for $5. Didn't need it. Don't use it. But how can you pass something up for $5?

I USED TO HAVE a Conn Naked Lady Tenor sax I got at the Berkeley flea market, but I sold it again. I think I bought it for $60 and sold it for $75.

I had a 4"x14" WFL snare in WMP I remember buying for $35 at the swap meet near downtown Oakland next to the community college. It was really nice except for the shoe strings holding the snares on.

I really wish I had held on to both of those. That WMP piccolo snare would look nice behind my club dates, and my sax playing would have to be better with that awesome horn.

Nice finds! I ran across a Slingerland snare case that was also empty. My wife was shocked that I didn't buy it. Explained to her that I have a shed full of empty cases already. That 60's logo UFO case is a nice one. Have seen them with keystone badge Supras inside.

I did find this at a flea market a couple years ago. It's not as nice as yours but you paid 10 times as much as I did.
