Fibes ready to rock pics

Here is my 70's Fibes fiberglass stainless steel set all polished up and ready to rock with REO this week, all tuned, and looking good, they sound like the end of the world is coming........they are in fanatasic shape..enjoy

Effin beautiful dude!

You know I`m droolin over `em (except for the Pearl tom mounts). Dibs if you ever wanna sell them.

We need to talk soon. I have a 20" bass drum shell for you that could be re-wrapped. I`d love to work out a partial swap for that 18"FT since you rarely use it, haha.

Man those look good, do'nt think I've ever seen a cleaner Fibes kit in that finish. Good Stuff!

Wow!!!! Slingerland: Nice set i have two of these sets..Both are 24",13",14",16",18" one is a Vistalite but looks like a shower door glass...The other one was chrome but it was Sooo bad condition i re-moved it and re-wrap it in Purple Gloss...Mikey

Damn, you caught me with the Pearl tom mounts, I must say it is NOT easy to slide the toms on and off with those mounts, anyone ever see the "correct" mounts for this kit? let me know, you didn't say anything about the 70 Sling super sound king snare? how about my digital simulation of lightening bolts on the toms, Ovrevolt when spelled correctly Overvolt, means an over charged electric circut, so the spin is my band is charged up like an over loaded circut LOL...........wierd but catchy, and good for conversation. I want to see pics of the clear Fibes sets, if they ever go back in business, I'm orderging a new one...........G

The mounts show up on ebay from time to time.Fibes used the same mounts on the toms and the bass. But the hardest part to fine in the mount rod itself its a "hex" shape rod single rod into bass drum but the top rod is shaped like a "U"...Mikey
