... and here it is! Couple things though:
Time softens the memory! I had TWIN 16X16's ! Forgot all about that actually.. and .. take note of the Cappelle/Orange BD pedal too! I remember this pretty well: The gig was at Yale University, and I grabbed this shot just before the sound crew got all the mikes up on the kit. I was playing with a 10 piece horn band called The Fabulous Downbeats and we did ALL Funk/R&B including AWB and TOP of course! GREAT band, and great times. This was 1978/79. WOW, just WHERE has that gone??!! Also...
... no bottom heads! That was THE sound... then. It was the 70's!

Great shot, the North drums just scream '70's, as do not having bottom heads!
