Anyone used these?

According to the DRUM! reviewer: "While other heads had fit on the shell too snugly and limited the available tuning range, the updated G1s were a perfecr fit."

Never play it the same way once.

Is the review online? I can't find out anything about these heads anywhere. Even on the Evans site? Would be interested to see more about them though.

There is a review in the issue of DRUM! magazine that just came out. Very positive review.

The review states that the new collar is currently in place on all 6" - 16" Evans heads. Other than that I suppose one could contact their head supplier and see if they have or can get them. I looked on Interstate Music's web site and couldn't find them but that just might be me.
