early 60's ludwig club date sky blue pearl w/snare Last viewed: 3 days ago

I have a REALLY NICE!! 1962-63 (the red stamp inside the shells is not very clear, however it is pre-serial number) ludwig, club date, sky blue pearl, 4 pc. drum set that I would like to sell.

Everything is in great shape. All the tom mounting hardware is there as well as the original dampeners on the toms and snare. The cymbal rod is missing as well as one bass drum leg however all mounts are there.

The bass drum hoops are refinished original.

Whoever gets this kit for $1200. will be making a wonderful score! I have a pre-serial Sky Blue Pearl Hollywood kit in the same 3-ply shells as this Clubbie kit. I -LOVE- the sound of mine. These kits sound the way drums are supposed to sound! Wish I had the cake, I'd be all over this one in a heart-beat.

superb! I wish I had room for them or the dough for them too!!

bass is 8 lug, so it should be a 14x20. floor tom has the long lugs, it should be a 14x14. ride tom would "usually" be an 8x12 in this configuration. looks like an 8 lug snare to me which would be a jazz festival. pioneer if its 6 lugs. nice deal here!

I'm shocked if these are still for sale. The 14" floor and jazzfest snare are worth $800+ or so on their own.
