The local guy where I get my heads and parts says that we can expect several of the vintage snare wires to be reissued. I was over there griping about it last week and he assured me that they're coming back soon. Time will tell.
This is really good news.
Either way, I am covered for now. I have six sets of Puresounds in reserve.
I've had 5 Dynasonics pass through my hands over the years. Each time, I was stoked to get it home and tinker with it. Each time, though, I was never happy with it. I got a COB Powertone, and it sounded so much better to me. Individual results may vary...
