Does anyone know if a white muffler off a vintage marching snare would be the same muffler used in the 5x14 COB drum?

Yes, the mufflers are the same. The early mufflers used a black felt and a differently styled frame than the white felt mufflers. However, they're all interchangeable.

Thanks for your reply. I have a 67-68 Dyna. I was under the impression the period correct muffler would be white. Is this not correct?
