Any DW experts out there I would appreciate your help. I have someone wanting to trade a DW Collectors snare for one of my Slingy kits. I know what my kits worth but am ignorant to DW values. It is a 5.5 x 14 Oct 2005 Collectors Series natural maple finish. The black badge says "Ten and Six All Maple Shell". Looks to be in really good condition. Serial # m282246 on a badge. Serial # 663723 on shell. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks guys!

The DW is a nice, well made snare. I've seen them for sale anywhere from $250.00 to 350.00, not sure I'd give up a vintage kit for one.

I'm not a DW 'expert' but the 10/6 means it's a ten ply shell with 6 ply maple re-rings. I -would not- trade a vintage Slingy kit for it. The DW guy/owner would really have to sweeten the deal for me to swap an entire vintage kit for it.
