DW 14 Collector's Maple/Mahogany "VLT" snare Last viewed: 6 hours ago

This is an amazing snare drum. 14 x 5.5. White Silk. I bought it from Interstate - they'd supplied backline kits for Milwaukee's Summerfest and sold them as 'used.' Well, they were lightly used. I should have taken a picture of the head that came with it because there weren't a lot of stick marks! What appears to be a patch, or double layer of wrap behing the throw off isn't a patch. The line to the righ is the wrap end, the one to the left is a reflection.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. You'll also do some online reading, too, I'd bet.

$400 with free shipping in lower US 48. And I will ship internationally, except Italy (which I still don't understand).

Don't pass it up. It's going on my local CL too, at 425, so my forum type buds are getting a little better deal!

You totally rock. I appreciate the kind words. You've been good to me, brother.

I just started spending some quality time getting the sound and feel. A little tuning. BOY! Is this different from the Gretsch New Classic sound!!

And there are so many of them!!

What a blast.
