My dog used to get inside my bass drum. He's in doggy heaven now, but this thread reminded me of how he used to do that. If I could fit in there I'd sleep there too. Come on, we all would! That gentle contour would be just like a hammock. :D

Not Me... I'd surely end up with a telescopic spur up the "Khyber Pass"..

(I do have a goldfish pond... But no Vistalites.......Hmmmm Yet).

Cheers

Goldfish in Vistalites? That just jarred a distant memory of Three Dog Night performing on the Midnight Special ('74, '75?). I remember the clear Vistalite bass drum filled with water with goldfish swimming in it, while the group "air-played" to a recording of Joy to the World. Can anyone confirm this so I won't think I hallucinated it?

I have a cat that loves Evans EMAD heads... so much that she pulls the dampening ring out of them and chews. I tried setting up one of the extra rings as a decoy by putting it next to the drum in hopes that she wouldn't get the one out of the drum head.. nope. She likes the thrill of the hunt i guess...

It ****es me off so much when it happens but it's funny!! I love EMAD bass heads as much as the cat does, but I prefer not to chew on the foam! Excited
