Drum shops Toronto and Vancouver

Loading...

Are there any decent drum shops in the downtown of either of these Canadian towns - am doing a flying day in each on my way back from Cuba.

I'm not looking for drums per se but the sort of place that might have a decent assortment of vintage friendly spare parts out the back - the right rubber stoppers, t-tops, that kind of thing though may pick up a case or something if it works. Tips on Camco stuff (I know - never going to happen) also useful.

Since the big music store meltdown here over the past couple of years these sort of places that have all but disappeared in Australia (there are new ones on the rise but the just don't have the depth of stock yet - particularly for these more service-oriented items) but really I'm just curious to see what's around.

Just Drums... http://www.justdrums.com/

- a Five Star shop, has a lot of new, might have some parts

Soul Drums... https://www.souldrums.com/

- vintage snares all around the store, smaller shop but probably has older parts

both are within a 15 minute walk of each other

also, two places i haven't been to, but if you have car access, might be worthwhile to check out/phone

and a "place" in Cambridge that always seems to mass spam the local Kijiji, but seems to have a lot of used stuff... i tried to travel out there once, but the owner wouldn't give me an address, then cancelled at the last minute anyway (but that was easily 6 years ago, so they may have gotten it together a little more)

Thanks guys. That's more than enough to keep me occupied - I'll need to negotiate with my wife for a quick drop in at one of them.
