Hi,

So at last I been able to purchase a Slingerland Rolling Bomber snare.

I got it with a vintage slingerland orchestra batter head and a calf skin on the reso side.

I've tried to put a modern remo ambassador on top and didn't really fit.

Then I got an Aquarian american vintage reso head and it fits. the only thing is that the collar is too high so i cant level it with the wood hoop hole for the snare wires. The snares will be loose and wont touch the head.

any one has any experience with that?
