Hi Blair. If you are seeing kits that have one Dayton and the rest Cleveland, could be a Clev/Day transition kit. So many drums were picked from the shelves to put a kit together (at factory and at dealers) that it is very unusual to see consecutive numbers on tags. If the numbers are relatively close and all drums are a match, then it probably is a born together kit.

I try to only buy drums that have flat grey interiors,so maybe thats why I see/hear of many transition kits............
