As far as I know they're maybe 20" versions, usually larger, fatter 22"++. Was an 18" version an option?

Didn't they make one for Buddy around 1949. I recall a short movie from that time, about 5 songs and he has a tiny set with his model snare drum from that year?
... or was there an 18" FT available? I don't do much pre-60's goodies, so I'm flailing here. Seems that FT's were usually 16x16" - correctomundo?

Plenty of 18" WFL floor toms around, maybe a few 20's too. But for your original question, I've not seen or heard of any other WFL 18's except the Buddy Rich film I mentioned earlier.
One other thing though, WFL made special order stuff, they may have built a few?

You mean this one?!

Thank you very much guys - Chris
There is a WFL "Compacto kit" that has a 20" bass drum and and Buddy Rich model 13" snare in 56' but the first time I see a cataloged 18" bass drum is not until 63. That being said, the picture posted above shows what appears to be an 18 for Buddy but I'm betting that it was custom made for him.
