Deal Alert: Maple kit Last viewed: 13 hours ago

What do you know!!!! I just snagged another one of these up today. It has more scratches than desired, though I am going to surely try to fix those. They are in the lacquer and not into the stained wood. This time, it was a cheap chrome Pulse snare included. But.....due to so many scratches, I was able to get it for $50! It appears to be the 9 ply Map/Mahog/Map or atleast the same as my other one. The BD hoops are stained on the outside, yet just nice bare (clear) lacquered wood on the inside. I like the look and may swap some parts from one to the other. This recent one is missing some parts, but a real nice score for the price. It is the same with the tube tom mounts 12,13,16,22.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Hey John,

Well here is the situation. I have 2 very close friends of mine who I am going to give first dibs to. I will first try to fix some of the scratches. However, they may pass, and if they do, I will contact you first.

As for pics....none taken yet. As a matter of fact, they are still in the car! For reference, they are identical to the ones I have posted here (though those pics are of my first one which is in storage). I will be taking them to my drum builder in early April, who will then be able to determine for sure what kind of wood all these are. He will also be trimming a couple toms down from my first kit, as I don't like deep toms and actually need them more shallow when they are on a 22 BD as I am a shorter guy and hate those toms to be so high (and also hate to tilt them back so far).

I wish it was more advantageous for you, but I must be loyal to my close friends here in my locale....friends for 30 years. I am sure you understand. At the same time, you will be the first to be contacted if I decide to sell some of these.

*******BTW, there is another one of these for sale on CL right now in Fort Wayne, IN.

BUT HEY....if you know of anyone in that area that are going to snag them up, please contact me, as I know of another great deal on some cymbals and snares in MUNCIE, IN.

Thanks,

John

Sorry, complete misread on my part. Not really interested in buying. Hope I didn't mislead you into thinking I was. I'll just say, Oops! ... and leave. Hurting
