u r welcome Mark. so if you cut the 12 down...would you be able to use the cut off for...maybe a small snare, like a piccilo type snare. just thinking out loud.

Good call IMO. Will you be doing it yourself or sending it out? I have some Ludwig CS shells I'm thinking of doing the same to....though I might make a 13X13 floor tom out of the 13"....

well, that way you could have a matching snare to go with that nice litl kit.

I went ahead and bought Darwin kit, yes, that's an Austin era Fibes tom. It's only temporarary until the Darwin tom gets cut down.

congrats Mark! hope you enjoy them for a looong time. the fibes tom fits right in, i had to look at the photos a cup'l times to notice the difference. good luck with the cut down, hope it turns out just as you want it. looking forward to seeing the outcome. also seriously hope you make a lit'l snare with the cutoff. heck if you do then decide you dont like it, ill buy it from you.:D
