Does anyone recognize this stand? A small label that appears to say Made In Germany. Thanks!

My dad had a couple of stands like that back in the late 1970's-early 1980's. I believe they were Hohner stands. They look very similar to yours.

If I recall he didn't get too many years out of them, but he was pretty rough on hardware then......

Yup ,Hohner.

I owned a couple.

They made some nice snare stands too,but some of the set screws would strip too easily.

One great feature was a tension lever that controlled the snare basket arms.

You could flip it to release or hold the snare drum in one easy motion.

Same with the cymbal stands....the wing screws would strip out easily. I remember dad taking them to his day job on more than one occasion to have the threads drilled and re-tapped to a larger size. The man never knew the meaning of too tight, unfortunately. ;)

I was going to say that the large wing nuts look similar to the ones on my Sonor Performer stands. Hohner was the Sonor distributor so possibly there is some connection.
