Hi,rogers crazy knowitalls. :-) I recently purchased a set of advertised rogers 60's floor tom legs.Although the description stated curved,the display photo disguised the true curvature,which is SIGNIFIGANT! Did rogers ever produce this style?Would the chrome flake off if I carefully straightened them in a bench vise? I am doing a no-no retrofitting these to an old 12x15 Yorktown tenor tom. It matches my 22/12/14/matched snare eagle badge WMP set.

My 64' Rogers kit has a floor tom with old-fashioned clip-mounts and those strangely curved legs. I thought there was something wrong with them too the first time I saw them, but they are legit. It be's what it be's... don't straighten them! They're supposed to be like that.

Yes indeed... Rogers #4256 Flare Tom-Tom Legs/brackets. They are correct... and in some cases were requested in place of the Rogers #275 Knobby legs. Here's a pic...
