Correct Slingerland tension rod size

Loading...

Restoring the Yellow Tiger Pearl kit and the rods are all mismatched. Kind of anal retentive, but I'd like to keep them all matching. What would be the length of tension rod on tom and floor tom from the YTP era (Black and Gold Badge).

Thanks in Advance

Hey BBK! I'm pretty sure that both rack tom and floor tom rods are 2", which are measured from below the collar to the end. How many do you need?

Hey Mark!

I remeasured the rods and they are 2 inch and 1 5 /8.

Thanks Mike. Chatted with Idrum4fun yesterday and he said he has a boatload of Slingerland 2 inch w/washers that he's gonna donate to my YTP project.
