Fellow members:

It has recently come to my attention that one of our own members has had a quite a rewarding and most deserved experience! Rene Martin ( drums2xs ) owner of King Street Percussion, in Cornwall, Ontario was hand-picked by Helix to be their drum technician at a recent very big gig in Canada. Rene will also be employed by the B.C. supergroup, Chillwack in the near future! I know Rene and realize that he is a very modest man as well as an excellent businessman and musician. I couldn't let this go unnoticed though. It's great to see that good things sometimes come to good guys! Way to go, Rene!!!

That is a great story and, I must say, you must certainly have one of the coolest basements around!

Beyond being a great "drummer's" story, kudos to you for taking the initiative to learn some business skills and pull things together. We need more people like you who are willing to accept responsibility and move forward, setting a great example for those that know and see you. Outstanding!

Okay here. Let's just say I'm trying to live down a certain war between some forum people here that involves me and a couple others. I am trying to clean up my act and let time escape so that I can exist on the forums drama-free. I have been a bit too busy with my current gig as a drummer in a blues/funk/dance band and am trying to learn the new style. But I am alive, healthy, and most of all very well-adjusted for the first time in a VERY, VERY long time. Thanks for asking!!!!

I appreciate the concern!!! Thanks a mint! Take care!!!
