Hi Guys,
I was waiting for Jerry to respond and didn't realise that the thread had gone on to two pages and he already had, so I am sorry for not posting this earlier.

I have added some more photos which I hope will help you, excuse my close ups, I need a tripod tbh. I'm not sure if you can see the green tinge to the shell, however, it almost looks white at some points where it comes through the mesh and the green that you can see is way darker than a Blaemire I think. I'm not even sure if what we think could be black paint actually is paint or whether it's the colour of the fibre, the ends of the fibre are black in a way that paint couldn't be, unless it was a stain I suppose.
Looking at the various photos that Jerry has uploaded I would say my shells seem thinner than the Blaemire's. There is definatley no wood in the shell, I hope you can see where the colour of the wrap ends and the fibreglass begins in the photos.
The bass spurs seem to be original at the time of making the drums (which to me says they may be from the eighties) as there are no other holes in the shell or patch up marks to suggest they were retro-fitted.
One thing that may help is the tom lug dimensions:
2-5/16" in length with the gap between the centres of the holes being 1-11/16", I work in CM's so I hope I said that right. I need at least three this size (if anyone can help I'd appreciate it) and looked on ebay for some only to be told that Rogers Lugs are all one size 3" and 2 3/8" between the centres, if this is correct, then my lugs are copies, I already think the bass drum logo and the badge on the tom are not original so this is no surprise.
The snare that came with the kit is metal and has a Newsound strainer on but no logo or badge, I remember the name from the past but can't find out who made them, any ideas?
Again, thanks for you continued interest, I am starting to obsess about them a little now and don't think of much else. The only drum I've played properly so far is the tom, I set it up with a Mapex kit (which is horrible) at band practice, it looks and sounds great to me, so whatever the verdict I'm happy.
