Gretsch will get more dough any day, but finding one is quite rare. I actually stumble upon the Ludwigs now and then, so that keeps a smile on my face.

Rogers 14x14 and the more rare 14x16 are worth more than the other two then Gretch then ludwig....

Ok.......how about a 70's Premier 14 by 14?
I was offered $200 for mine ..
seems a little low,as they are MUCH more rare then a Lud or Sling........and Gretsch/Rogers...for that matter!

Sometimes it's hard to do comparisons. Here are 3 completed sales for 14x14 60's Rogers, $645,650,675. I could not find any completed Gretsch sales, but found some asking prices to show a consensus of ranges,$900,1050,1200,1250. (This is the range I am familiar w/ for actual sales of Gretsch 14's). As far as Premier, they simply do not have the interest or cache compared to the American companies,(whether this is rational or not is another matter).
