christmas present

here's what the wife bought me for christmas..i was watching it, but she told me it had gone, deleted it from the watch list..then surprise..it was underneath the tree !!

has a lot of info on the listing..can anyone tell me any more, seems like we got a good deal? Really love the duco finish on it..

Roll on my birthday...will have to put something real big on the watch list !! ha ha!!

It's a pretty nice Pioneer. The worst of it is the rust on the strainer, but you should be able to get that off. Not sure what she paid, but it's probably worth $150 to $200. Merry Christmas!

Congratulations,...great snare.

Mine is 1964 but same drum.

The Duco-paint and badge on mine were in a bad shape so I re-wrapped it to match my Green Sparkle Club Date. It's my daily "home-playing" snare.

Warm and woody,... love it.

Yours looks great and indeed should clean up nicely.

Interior looks smashing!

Gosh I wish Santa would bring me stuff like that,...

thanks for the post, yeah the strainer will need a bit of elbow grease and also the chrome, but had a go already and the shine is coming up nicely..

thanks mate, really glad you like it.. yeah the interior is fab and apart from all the chrome the snare is a fantastic add to my ever growing duco collection.. had been looking for one for some time !

nice job on your re-wrap also mate and yeah the wife done good this year..but then again she did get 2 handbags!!! ha ha
