The 17th Annual International Custom and Vintage Drum Show

2006 exhibitors will be offered right of first refusal on their exhibit spaces before new exhibitors are registered. We'll be contacting all 2006 exhibitors by early fall regarding 2007.

VIP admission $75.00; good for admission during hours restricted to exhibitor and VIP access (Friday 5-8, Saturday 8-10, Sunday 9-10) VIP passes are available in advance; contact Rob for details rob@rebeats.com

Consignments: If you have something you'd like to sell or trade, bring it along. You are welcome to walk around to the exhibitors to see if you can work a deal and/or leave it in our consignment area. The consignments will once again be under the able command of Doug Carrington, a widely recognized vintage drum expert who will also have his own booth. He will help you decide on an asking price if you need help. Our cut is 20% of the selling price up to a maximum of $150.

[B]NEW VOLUME POLICY! Please help us maintain the prestige of The Chicago Show by doing your part to keep excessive noise in check. We realize that percussion instruments must sometimes be played loudly in order to properly demonstrate them, but we must insist that there be no extended solos, jamming, or other inappropriate behavior that ruins the event for others. Both the NAMM and PASIC shows have a policy that booth volume cannot exceed 80 dB for several consecutive minutes. We'll give you another 20 dB, taking the limit to 100 dB for two minutes. We WILL be using an SPL meter to monitor levels.

Good question. Rob Cook, the shows host is a member here and I can email him that question. If you visit the site you can probably also send him an email.

I know they always sell them at the door, and there are VIP passes which cost more that let you in before everyone else and those are more money.

I just noticed his web site is down. He just switched servers recently and something is going on. I just called him and left a message

The Rebeats site should be back up in 24hrs. Once that happens I will

fix the link and provide the updated show information.

Switching servers never goes smooth and when you think things are being done correctly, they probably are not. There are a lot of factors involved, especially when changing the company that controls the domain name.

Stressful times for Rob...
