Superb. Pictures are awesome and appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to post them. This show is on my list every year but unfortunately I haven't made it yet.....but I will one day! Congrats on the raffle win(s).
Love the mod orange of course! Did anyone get pics of Bun E's booth? I heard he had the citrius mod there.
I was there a few years ago and there was this dude with a big smile on his face, hoppin around like a kid on Christmas morning. Then it dawned on me, it was Bun E. Love that guy!
Wow!!!! What a selection of drums, amazing. NO pictures of any Gretsch kits or Ludwig Black Beauty's or did I miss them? ;-)
I just joined this site and find it very informative.

What a lot of Camcos. Last I checked, they were rare.
Wow, what a "Chinese Torture" looking at all the beautiful pics, your descriptions and thinking back to how much fun, attending the Chicago Drum Show is/was!
Once living in Chicago, I of course had the pleasure of getting with Steve Maxwell, and the rest of the fine folks out there. I know Steve lives for such fun, and enjoyment! With all the fine sets, I'm afraid I'd need my own little gymnasium to hold them all. One can never have enough cool drum sets it appears, and we only lack for space and the money to buy them!
Thank you again, this is the first time I've been back to the group in a long time, and perused this post. Mark D.
I love the awesome Trixon kits all of them. The huge row of Chrome snares is blinding with bling.
When is the next vintage drum show?!?! Chewie:
