St Charles is a very nice town with lots of cool restaraunts and bars. It is way far from Chicago so dont think you will be in Chicago traffic, you wont. My wife and I went for the first time last year. The original plan was to get a room, and I did have one reserved but due to my dads health we just drove up for the day. It was an awesome time for me. My wife thought it to be interesting especially the custom snare drums in the raffle, but by 4:00 she was ready to go home.

I will plan to go this year so I hope we can organize a way to all meet up somewhere.

I'd sure like to go... we'll just see how much money there is!

We have family in the Milwaukee area, and my wife has the idea that she and her sister will be shopping somewhere... other than the show!

Does VDF/VDG have booth space? I'd sure like to meet up with some of you guys!!
