Eye Ball It's like Christmas morning!

And, our good friend Bob is like Ralphie hoping to find a BB gun.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I wish I had better news...but I don't. I did get them for free. That's good, and it was a nice gesture for her to give them to me, so I don't want to sound like an ingrate.

It's a 1920's era set; 28" Ludwig single tension bass drum, cheapo Ludwig metal snare (I think) with rusty rims, tiny little hi-hats with stand, a 16" broken China , and one other splash type cymbal. They're tarnished badly, so I don't know what they are. I was hoping for something really good, but she gave them to me, so I shouldn't complain. There was also a nice set of temple blocks, but she wanted to ask her nephew if he wanted those. If not, I can have them.

The bass drum has been recovered with sticky contact paper that I hope will come off easily. The heads are mostly broken. One calf head on the BD is still in one piece.

My questions is, are the bass drum parts, Ludwig oval logo badge, etc, worth anything?

those little hihats are highly sought after by some old school swing and jazzers i sold a pair for 80 to a guy who just loved them you will b surprised how they sound

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I think what you have is alot better and more exciting than you realize. Don't strip anything apart until you know what you have. I think it's fantastic!
