Hello out there! Along with the Premier Dominion Major (see thread) I also got this little thing as part of the deal. It doesn't have (or doesn't seem to have) any badge or ID mark I can make out anywhere! Can any of you tell what it is by it's strainer mech and lugs? I doubt if it's as hot/cool as the Major, but who am I to tell one way or the other? It'd be nice to know what it is though! Thanks in advance!
Can anyone identify this piccolo for me? Last viewed: 7 hours ago
It looks like a generic Pearl Taiwan or some other Taiwanese builder to me. Maybe a TAMA, by the lugs, but my money is on Pearl Taiwan.

Yeah, Jonnistix - actually it has a Pearl pinstripe on the batter head. Not really a great clue, and far from being a reliable one for that matter too - but - you never know!
its a sunlite piccolo snare.

Thanks for identifying the snappy little 12-lug gnat that it is, Elrod. The throw 'slot' had a few burrs on it which made the lever fail to 'catch' properly, but a gentle bit of hidden needle-filing sorted that out. I then cleaned it up, put a new snare head on, leaving the Remo/Pearl Pinstripe batter head in place, tuned it up very high n tight and gigged it this week - and indeed it sounded awesome, cutting right through everything. It may be a cheapie, and at £7.50 for me it definitely was, but it has it's own character and certainly did the trick live, even against all the other snare drums I am lucky enough to be able to choose from.
