Hi,

I found these marching drums on a Dutch second hand site. Pictures are bad, but I thought: hey maybe that's Gretsch. Can anybody tell?

Thanx in advance.

They probably are Star- which is sort of cool on it's own!

From MickM

Gretsch would have different style tone control/s I believe.

Different hoops , strainers , and there would be badges above the strainers mounted near the top of each drum . Lugs slightly different . Must be old Japanese Gretsch copycat drums .

Thank you all.

I can get the whole lot for about 60 bucks. I consider checking them out.

The top left on the first pic is definitely Star (round 1967 badge)

Good quality drums!

The bass drum looks like a KINGS (Germany), not too fond on that brand.

However, that many round objects for a 2 digit price is a bargain :-)
