Came across this pic of Macca sitting at Ringo's drums Last viewed: 16 hours ago

Noticed that he is holding the sticks traditionally! Knowing that he can actually play drums I'm wondering if he had some formal training along the way!

Cool pic! I've never seen him play that way, always matched grip. I don't think he's had any formal training in anything( no offense meant), he's just a musical genius!!

The years have not softened attitudes enough for anyone to consider that admission to be less than dorky! Falling Do

Don't feel offended by my joke. It comes from a guy who once owned a wore a silver sharkskin Beatle suit and accompanying pointy Beatle boots! In Dorkland -I- am KING! lol

John

I am pretty sure that is Paul playing drums on "The Ballad of John and Yoko." Seems like there was another. Can't remember the other one.

Who told you my old parochrial school nickname? BUT, I was buddy holly dorky...and Dorky sounds like Dirk from the Rutles ( another great band), so no offense taken.

I 'm not sure if I want it back as a nickname though... :)
