Just wondering how often any of you happen to run across Camco Parade Drums?I happen to own one that a good friend of mine found at an Estate Sale several years ago. However, it's the only one I've ever seen in the local area.Did Camco produce these in extremely limited quantities or are there others out there that I just haven't noticed?(Pic taken from VDF "Vintage Drum Guide" section.)
Yes Camco made parade drums in snare's/tom's/bass drum's/..They made two line one was "Parade Masters" they had the round lug with metal rims and "Parade Queen" center lug wood rims drums like the one you posted..If the top of my had the snare's/ and toms were in these sizes 10x14,12x15.12x16..The bass drums were 8x24.10x24, and 8x28,10x28..
I have not seen many of these drums over the year's.The ones i have had and sold were 10x14's and 12x15's snare and toms..Only had 2 bass drums i think they were one of each in sizes 8x24 and 8x28..
I would say that any of these drums are rare to come by today..
Oh i have never seen a 12x16 tom or snare drum ever...Mikey
