Ok I am back in the saddle playing my Buddy Rich 1988 reissue I am surrounding it with all new paiste 2002 now my question is what would be the correct hardware for this kit I already use a speedking but what series of cymbal stands hihat stand etc would be a correct fit.. thanks :)

Well....actually, if you are trying to replicate Buddy's last Ludwig, or his Radio King set for that matter, the correct hardware would be the Hercules series of stands, not the Modular. Tube legs with rubber feet.....that's what Buddy used....and to be more correct with the bass drum pedal...Buddy used a Rogers Swiv-O-Matic bass drum pedal, despite being a Ludwig endorser for many years.

Nope not trying to duplicate anything of buddy's just trying to find out which stands would be correct for this kit ,made in 1988 now do the modular hardware have a series number like 400 or 300 or are they just called modular? again many thanks ... what i need to get is 3 straight cymbal stands and 1 hi hat stand ..

This set came with a 26 inch bass drum so it is not really a buddy set but it is know what i mean?
