Cadeson was one of the earliest high end Chinese export brands marketed to the West. Reviews were generally good. That particular drum in the photo should hold up and perform at least as well as any current high end Asian imports.

I saw Cadeson drums in an independent shop in the late 90's,they had a lower line,similar to pearl exports,and a professional line,the shop had a 6 piece 10 12 14 16 20 maple 14 aluminum snare just like the one in your pic,very nice kit,the lugs were machined brass,and looked just like the one you posted.

As I remember the snare sounded very good,really dry like a hammered supra.

They were blowing the kit out with hardware for 1700.00

I think 139.00 is a very good price for that drum.

Looks to be a well built original config snare. Guess now would be the time to grab the first gen Chinese stuff. It won't be collected at my place anytime soon but for 140 worth checking out.
