Mike!Glad you enjoy all the backstory!, and... I can't really say more than this at this time ... but ... I was approached about a book at the Chicago Drum Show. I am interested!, and pics were taken of each drum in my collection in a controlled location and in HD. So... I guess it's just a matter of working out the details? When Buddy Rich brought his band to our high school for a concert in 1975 our high school band director and I hung out back stage with Buddy and his Mgr. I also stood right there with his drum tech who sat up the drums and he actually used a couple of my mics. He was playing Slingerland drums, his Fibes snare drum and a Speed King bass drum pedal.
