Armand's old Bentley by change...didja?
:)Cool Dude:)
Mother in law not ready to part with the cup yet. Holding out for when it is vintage.
The set I believe is what Ludwig called a Probeat. The floors are 16 & 18 but the picture does make the 18 look huge.
The Buddy Rich kit was there when I went also Bun, Also not sure if you saw the Gene Krupa section but had a couple of his sets there also.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.

No Bentley Richie
But I am quite happy with what I have.
Have to say very sweet funny what things remind you of lol
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
That is a badass kit, period.
Sorry for swearing.

Just ran across this site thought it was informative. Learned quite a bit.

If it is correct the shells on this kit are the first issue but are drilled for second issue placement. The muffler and bass hoops look like first gen also.
Checked Richie's serial # guide and badge places it in 1975. I thought it was a 74.
Could be leftover shells and other stock with newer badges, interesting.
Anyone have an early vista set for comparison. I have an original 1976 Vista I bought and the seams and mufflers are different (second issue) as stated in the link above.

Way off the cool scale! The throne is SICK!
