I have a Rogers Blue Strata Pearl Tower Series that has Beavertail lugs. The paper sticker inside has Tower blacked out with marker and Holiday written in what looks like same hand script in pencil with different initials R.C on floor tom....A.L. on tom....known history is from 1974 to present..... Any thoughts????
Blue Strata Pearl
The tower series had double tension lugs and I think was discontinued in the late 60's. Why don't you post some pix.

Hmmmm...a couple of things: back in the day, the person doing final assembly on the drum would grab whatever label was available, cross out the incorrect drum type, and handwrite the correct name in pen, marker or pencil. I have a 16x16 FT Holiday , Cleveland, that used a Mercury label, and a 9x13 RT ,Holiday, Dayton , that used a Tower label. It sounds like you have some or all Holidays. What does the sticker say was the location of manufacture? 1974 would have been Fullerton, CA. Serial #'s on the drums with crossed-out labels are misleading, in terms of dating your drums. The initials were the assembler's. "RC" could have been Robert "Bobby" Collins, Jr.
Hope that helps.
