Blizzard Trade - Slingerland for Ludwig Last viewed: 21 hours ago

Loading...

So I had a guy come out in this lovely weather we are having to make a trade. He took my 1960's Slingerland 26" marching bass drum, I got a 1980's 26" Ludwig Bass drum ( missing the front lugs, and curved legs ) and a 1920's Pioneer Bass Drum with the light inside ( still functional ) and the original painted front head in good shape. The batter side calf skin is busted, but aside that the drum looks to be in great shape. I'll get some photos posted tomorrow. Not a bad days trade for blizzard conditions.

Well Jay,

Anytime a Slingerland goes away is cause for concern :-) Looks like you did very well. Congrats!!

Hey Jay

Do you still have the painted head? I have been looking for one. I will be back in CT in a few weeks and can stop in to see it
