I would kill to have one of those. I f you ever want to trade, I have an original Allen Blaemire prototype snare.
She's a beauty Scott! Did you ever hear back about that 14" shell?
Unfortunately.......I did not.
But still remaining with a positive attitude.
Shall we give him a "jingle" again?
Thanks

I bought this one from Jerry when he sold three of his drums on VDF last year. This was a prototype made from a plastic material that Alan experimented with. Allen gave the drum to Jerry, then I bought it. Im really proud to own this bit of history, now that think about it Im not sure if I would trade it or not. Ever since I I bought this drum I have had a fascination with the Blaemire drums. And I have had the pleasure of meeting Jerry in Chicago. I think it would be awesome to own one of those green glass snares. I have played a few of the Jenkins Martin kits at the Chicago show and really love them, A big thanks to Gregg and Scott for always making me feel welcome, glad we could have that beer together!
Please correct me if I have this story wrong.
I remember that shell in Jerry's closet.
I think it was one of his later builds.
Leedy lugs were his favorite.
So that snare is kind of special.
It is made of Phenolic resin.
Pearl made some Phenolic shells also.
Allen tried the Phenolic but stuck with the Polyester resin.
Actually that snare is extremely rare.
I do not know of any other Blaemire Phenolics.
That says Jerry all over it.
Is the throw a Leedy?
Heres the 10 finished and set up with his brothers.
Oh, JC, 1 more thing.
Does that shell have a Blaemire tag inside?
Thanks sa
