Bass Drum Hoop Clamp On Cymbal Holders/Arms

Loading...

I am not sure what kit you want to mount it on but heres another solution

I use 2 ludwig atlas mounts on my bass drum, no extra drilling they just replace a lug at each position you need them at. also the mounting holes adjust for most makes of lugs

Thanks blackd. I had always thought that those mounts only fit Ludwig lugs. I didn't realize they were "universal". I think that's a very cool idea.

Ludwig doesn't do a very good job explaining how they work on their website, and surprisingly there isn't a lot of technical information or "specs" online anywhere. It looks to me like an L-arm holder is integrated right into the lug. Do you use a 12.7 mm arm, or do you use a smaller one and need to use the included spacers?

Thanks!

you can use 9.5 10.5 or 1/2 you get inserts for the different sizes, another thing Ludwig dont tell you. the other cool thing about them is that the vibration from the kick pedal dos not transfer to the cymbal. I usually leave the L piece of the holder on the bass drum, makes set up time a lot quicker

I also have this mount on my Ludwig kit that i use for my ride cymbal as well.

Literally immovable, quiet and beyond solid. I'm sorry i didn't mention it earlier,

but i completely forgot about the Atlas mount..DOHDOH

I use a clamp on Rogers hoop mount to hold my 6 or 8" splash. There has never been a problem due to the light weight of the splash.
